The Device Touch software client builds up secure remote maintenance tunnel easily through InHand cellular communication products, for maintenance engineers to remote maintain the field devices. Through the on-demand tunnel built by Device Touch, engineers can access the field devices from anywhere where there is internet access, to remote program, diagnose, debug and monitor variables of the devices.
Device Touch works with InHand 2.5G/3G/4G cellular routers and intelligent gateways to constitute remote maintenance solutions.
- Work with devices that support Ethernet and/or RS232/RS485 ports, including all major brands of PLC, HMI, etc.
- Support PLC software clients of Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, Omron, Mitsubishi and other major brands
- Used to access InHand Device Touch system and field devices
- Support management of access by >10,000 maintenance tunnels
- Account, password and certificate authentication mechanism
- Build on-demand connection to field PLC or not according to user’s authorization level
- Device Touch connects to PLC specified by the engineer to gain field information
- Equipment configuration information, incl. IP address, PLC station address, communication parameters
- Logs of client-end connections
- Logs of maintenance by engineers
